On September 9-10, 2010, the Swiss Embassy and UNESCO-IHCN have organized an international conference in New Delhi on "Heritage-Based Sustainable Urban Development". Moreover, the institutional set-up is constantly evolving along with new policies that are re-shaping the higher education landscape, and a surge of private initiatives in key areas of S&T.
